Feature Requests

The options for reservation bookings is 0 or 1 hour from the current time. I would like guests to be able to make a reservation 30 minutes prior to the time if we have availability and this is not an option. 1 hour is too long sometimes or people think we're packed when we have open tables. Can the option be put into minutes rather than hours.

I would love for management to be able to set up all shifts of floor plans during opening process and be able to just toggle to the new floor plan when that shift starts

It would be really amazing to be able to assign alternative floor plans to specific dates. I would like it to be integrated into Schedules (for Toast Tables). We have a number of events and special dining experiences that require us to rearrange our floor plan. It would be great if that special floor plan could be reflected on reservations for specific dates, rather than having to change the floor plan layout universally.

Our current platform requires initials of the person who is putting in the reservation. This has helped us tremendously if there is any confusion or issue with the reservation. Would it be possible to have the employee put in their name or initials on the reservation, so we know who to call if there is a question?

We do many large parties and we utilize multiple servers per party weekly. It would be great to be able to have multiple servers assigned in those occasions (and if it could carry into tips that would be super as well)

I would like for the servers to be able to see reservation notes on their POS for reservations that are sat in their sections. In the instance, a host forgets to mention special occasions, VIP guests, etc. etc. It would be nice if the servers had access to those notes directly.

We have 2 different dining areas setup. Would be nice to be able to set the main dining layout as a default to make taking normal reservations easier, instead of toggling on and off the second dining area.

We use 'Notify' when a party's table is almost ready, get them up to the host stand area so we aren't waiting to seat the table. When we use this 'button status' it sorts the party to the very bottom of the 'status list' and we have to scroll all the way down to then seat them at the table. Also, can we please please get a button in the 'Add walk-in' screen to update status right when they check-in! This way we don't have to go into the Guest info screen two times for each check-in! Lastly, custom sorting the status screen or adding more status options would be 'nice to have' :) Thanks!
