"I'm not interested in how many people we've done for the day, but I really need to know how many we've done/doing on the current shift. I would love the top of the screen to read
Reservations (which includes anyone on the waitlist) 234 people / 77 tables.
Waitlist (how many people/ tables are on the waitlist) 43 people / 14 tables
Total Covers (for the shift) 122 in - 234 remaining.
RESERVATIONS 234 / 77
WAITLIST 43 / 14
TOTAL COVERS 122 in / 234 remaining"

This is now available in our new Flow Tab view - just tap on the service period filters to get a summary of all the data for that service period!

Jim Covino for some reason, I am not seeing the Flow tab at the bottom of our screen? I only see Home, Timeline, Servers, Guests. I checked and the app is updated. Am I missing something?

Hey Michelle Qadri! The app stores do a phased rollout so there may be a delay by up to a few days. If you're using iPhone/iPad you can bypass this by going directly to Toast Tables on the app store and forcing an update. On Android there's no shortcut however so it's really at the whim of Google unfortunately - then you should it by Monday at the absolute latest I think.

Jim Covino That worked perfectly - thank you!

I, too, would like the ability to differentiate between how many covers we have booked and completed per shift as opposed to per day. This feature would allow us to more easily see how many covers we are averaging per dinner service on a Saturday night as well as how many we are averaging for brunch service on a Saturday morning/afternoon. Resy allows you set up different service periods and differentiates between the two by clicking on a “Brunch” tab so see what your covers for brunch are, and clicking on a “Dinner” tab to see how many covers you have for dinner. It would be great to have this feature programmed in Toast Tables as well. Thanks!

Hey folks! In the meantime while we build this out by service period, a breakdown for the DAY has always been available in the top right. Just toggle the arrows from your server rotation and you can always see a breakdown of upcoming vs served reservation / waitlist covers and total covers

I have also requested this. We need to be able to see guest counts per service period (lunch vs dinner). A feature open table had and we miss.

The ability to quickly see the total covers remaining is import to us. It’s great to see how many have been served and the total for the day, but we also need to total covers remaining, possibly by service period to better plan upcoming service.
