Its been months since this request has been made. Toast reservations is in infantry stage. If these modifications were not made i dont expect folks would move to toast. Now i use both reservation system and i dont like the interface on my android app nor unable to setup notifications doesnt interest me anymore. Its important that this feature was added.

We recently migrated to Toast Tables from another reservation system. The ability to have an email notification for each reservation was key for our restaurant.
Reasons:
- Ability to be reactive to special requests for specific tables, guests needs or identifying VIPs as they book. It is amazing how much the special request field is used for a reservation.
- Ability to see how marketing efforts help drive guests to reserve. For example, I sent out a marketing email yesterday and I don't know how many reservations were created since. Small restaurants don't have fully integrated source tracking for this.
- Better notification of reservations coming in right before or during service. The notifications in the Toast Tables app aren't very clear.
We plan to switch back to the other reservation system until this feature is available in Toast Tables.

Maybe even with filters or thresholds? Like reservations over a certain party size or for certain days or day parts?

More background: "We like to be very hands on with our reservations because we are such a small unit. The morning summary of all upcoming weekly reservations works great for us, however we'd like to have a little more of an idea of when a reservation is booked online so that we have that much more preparation over what could be coming with it. In terms of emails, I've got my gmail set up to deliver things to specific folders, so it wouldn't be any inconvenience for us."
