Let servers change seat numbers

Another answer from the POS team that might help: "The only reason we can think of for needing a manager passcode to change the seat number of an item is that the server is trying to change it after the item has been sent and they don't have the 3.10 Edit Sent Items permission. For changing guest count and needing a manager passcode, the only thing we can think of is that they're trying to edit a check that isn't owned by them and they need the 1.9 Edit Other Employees' Orders permission.
Otherwise, we have no permissions governing those actions specifically". Let us know if this answers your question!

Hi folks - Just clarifying that this sounds like a request for the POS team vs the Toast Tables team. Can you confirm what surface you are talking about here?

sonora.braun@toasttab.com: this is for sure for the POS as any time a server needs to change a seat number a manager has to put in there pass code.

Eric Olson: Eric can you confirm if this is also an issue you are having in the new POS experience? As much detail as possible would be awesome. Are you saying every time the server wants to move a table in the POS? there aren't any permissions governing changing seats, but there is 1 for changing servers which is the 1.17 Change Server permission https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Access-Permissions-Reference

The POS team has not seen examples of this issue. If you all can get the rx name and server name that this happened to, we can check their permissions to see if this might be a permission issue.
