Don’t let the app automatically change times on existing reservations

On busy nights, if we go to adjust a reservation, for example change the number of people or their assigned table or even if the group is 5 minutes late, the app thinks we have no availability and automatically bumps them to like 8pm or whatever it thinks is the next available time. It would be better if only manual changes were allowed.

This is a huge issue!
We are currently in the middle of a busy Friday night dinner service and my reservation for a six top that has checked in. went down to a five top, they are a 6:15pm reservation.
When they were checked in,
the app bumped to the next available time slot, at 8:30! This should not be allowed to happen.

The reservation for a six top had checked in. Their party of six went down to a party of five, they were a 6:15pm reservation.
They were marked as checked in, the party’s guest count was updated, the app bumped them to the next available time slot, at 8:30.
This led to a lot of confusion as the assigned tables were also affected leaving us to scramble around the dining room trying to figure out what was going on, and where we were going to reassign upcoming reservations.
Trying to find the reservation that had checked in on the app which had suddenly disappeared. This should not be allowed to happen.
We did not have these issues with managing our reservation party size decreasing prior to your announcement that there would be an update for time management.
This is a new issue and it is frustrating.
