We’d love the ability to adjust how many reservations are available during different blocks of time in a single service. Right now, we have to create separate shifts like “Early Dinner,” “Dinner,” and “Late Dinner” just to manage availability — which works, but it’s clunky and time-consuming.
Ideally, I’d be able to:
Increase availability from 4:00pm–5:45pm (Downtown Austin life) to drive early reservations
Reduce it from 5:45pm–8:00pm to allow space for walk-ins and reduce pressure during peak hours
Then open it back up after 8:00pm to accommodate late-night guests
Giving us more flexibility to adjust availability within a single shift would help us better pace the room, guide guests toward shoulder periods, and protect the guest experience during high-volume times, without having to create multiple service shifts to do it.
