there should be an easier feature to block any times and tables, in any increments of time. rather than 30 minute or 45 minute. litterelly block or unblock.

We currently have a Wisely. The Only feature that is keep us from switch to Toast is that you can’t manually update the status of the table and the table changes color. For example-
. When the table is eating main meals - light green
. When the table is eating dessert - green
. Check dropped - dark green
. Paid - darker green

We would love a feature to manually mark/indicate (with color codes!) when a table has their entrees, and when they have their check. Our previous waitlist manager had this feature and it helps our hosts tremendously when managing the wait list!

Would be extremely helpful to be able to create custom statuses - even if they were pre-programmed. We are an outdoor beer garden and use custom statuses that correspond to Table colors. We status tables as we seat them to help the managers and hostesses get key information at a glance. Examples of these statuses are things like "Has Dog", "Needs help ordering" (we use QR Codes), "No ID - not 21" etc.

We would love the ability to update the status of our currently seated tables - options like appetizers, entrees, dessert, check dropped, drinks only, etc. This would help our hosts manage the flow of sections and predict wait times.

We would like the ability to add some status updates. We would like to add: Unreachable, and Left Message. We don't use Checked In and would like to be able to hide that status from our screen.

It would be nice to have the ability as a host to manually add the progress to a table in order to have a better understanding of the timing per table. To be able to add if the table is on appetizer; entree, or dessert so that you have an idea of how much longer do tables have left

We have automatic statuses from the POS that show you the ordered status, the items ordered, and the Paid status from the POS. Does this suffice for now? We are working on adding in the course name of the most recent item from the POS so you can easily see what course each table is on.

sonora.braun@toasttab.com: The biggest issue for us here is knowing when a tables has their entrees. This greatly impacts our wait time accuracy, and gives the host a clear indication of how busy the kitchen is.
