Previous to Toast Tables, our restaurant had Tock. One of the FEW good things about Tock were the guest tags. These were small icons that the host could view right beside the reservation or walk up name. These helped us to quickly identify important guest info and preferences. At our restaurant, we have different dining areas & with these tags, it was easy to identify where the party wanted to be sat. (Ex: icehouse, patio, main dining room). As well as having other tags related to guest visits like, “Alert the Manager”, “Owner”, “Employee”, “Birthday”, etc. You could also create custom tags with whatever you wanted them to say which was helpful.
